General: This competition is conducted by Maxxia Pty Ltd, Level 21/360 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (Maxxia) ABN 39 082 449 036 (PH: 1300 123 123). All entries are the property of Maxxia and will not be returned.

Important information: Participation in this Competition (Competition) is deemed acceptance of these Terms. Competition is open to permanent, fixed term and casual employees aged 18 years or older of The State of Victoria Department of Education and Training (ABN 52 705 101 522). Entrant must be an employee at the time of entry or entry will be deemed invalid.

Period: Competition opens 9am, 1 November 2022 (AEDT) and closes 4:00pm on Friday 9 December 2022 (AEDT)
How to enter:
To enter the competition, you must:
1. Go to www.educationvic.maxxia.com.au/win
2. Complete the entry form and click “submit”
Remember, you can only enter once. Further entries by an Entrant will be deemed invalid.

Prize Details: The first 100 eligible entries randomly drawn by Maxxia will be the winners and each will be awarded a Prezzee gift card to the value of $40 issued by Maxxia. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Determining the winner: The random prize draw will take place at 10:00am on Tuesday 13 December 2022 (AEDT).

Game of chance: This Competition is a game of chance, and subject otherwise to these Terms, skill plays no part in determining the winner. Each valid entry will not be individually judged. The winner will be randomly decided using an approved Electronic Drawing System from an external provider and a Certificate of Compliance will also be obtained.

Announcing the winners: Maxxia will publish the prize winners online at www.educationvic.maxxia.com.au/win on Friday 16 December 2022 and winners will also be notified by email using the details provided with the winning entry.

Winners will be verified with the Department of Education and Training that they were eligible employees at the time of entry. Upon verification, prizes will be sent by email to winners using the details provided with the winning entry (which shall constitute good delivery of the prize).

Redraw: If a winner is not verified as an eligible employee, Maxxia will randomly draw replacement winner(s) from valid entries at 10am, 17 January 2023 (AEDT).

Maxxia will announce the redrawn winner(s) online on 19 January 2023 and will notify them by email. The redrawn winner(s) will be published at www.educationvic.maxxia.com.au/win.

Publicity: Winners consent to Maxxia using their name on the competition results page and in other promotional materials for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome).

Reservation of rights: Maxxia reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms or who tampers with the entry process.

Legal: Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia.

Liability: To the extent permitted by law, Maxxia accepts no liability to you for any loss, including indirect or consequential losses, arising in any way from your entry into the competition or from claiming the prize (including any late, lost or misdirected claims, or any tax liability that you incur in claiming the prize) or your use of the prize (including any inability to use the prize, or any loss including those arising from personal injury) sustained as a result of, or during, any travel paid for with the prize.

If for any reason the competition does not run for its duration due to a computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of Maxxia that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, Maxxia reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Maxxia is not responsible for any:

• malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website;
• failure of any email or entry to be received by Maxxia; or
• injury or damage to Entrants or any other person related to or resulting from participation in the competition or downloading any materials for the competition.

Legal warning: As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by Maxxia and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

Privacy: By entering this Competition, you agree to Maxxia’s Privacy Policy available at www.maxxia.com.au/privacy-policy and acknowledge that all information collected will be treated in accordance with Maxxia’s Privacy Policy.

Maxxia collects Personal Information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for the above purposes, disclose such Personal Information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and as required, to regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Personal Information may be used for marketing purposes in the future.
